General

What are your customer service hours?

Our customer service hours are 8am-6pm CST. We strive to respond to all questions and/or concerns within 48 hours.

Before I Order

Do I have to know my measurements in order to place my order?

Yes. You will need to enter your waist measurements in inches before submitting your order. For tips on how to measure, please check out our 'How To Measure' tab.

Can I just give you my pants size in place of my waist measurement?

No. We will need your actual waist measurement. While our bodies are all beautifully made, they are shaped differently. Your size 16 and my size 16 may be entirely different.

Strands

Do you offer removable strands with clasps?

No. Your waistbeads are a commitment to self. I believe that if you are able to take your strands off at night, they are no longer a commitment, but only a mere accessory. Your waistbeads should be an extension of you.

I see multiple strands on the picture, does this strand come with the other strands it is pictured with on the site?

No. Most strands come with only one strand, unless otherwise stated in the description.

Forms of Payment

What currency are your products set in?

All products are set by default in USD.

Ordering

How do I know if my order has successfully been placed?

You will receive an order confirmation and receipt to the email address provided at checkout. Be sure to check your spam folder as well. Also, please ensure that you enter your correct email address. Any misspelling can effect whether you receive your confirmations or not.

I just placed my order, can I change it?

Not at this time. If an order is placed and you would like to add to it, you will have to place a separate order.

Shipping

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Orders generally ship out 8-10 business days after purchase. Oftentimes it is much sooner, but our policy is 8-10 business days. We ship via USPS.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is ready to be shipped, you will be emailed a United States Postal Service (USPS) tracking number, at which point, you will be able to keep track of your order.

I have not received my order even though tracking shows that it was delivered.

EmpowHER'd Strands is not responsible for missing or lost packages. Once the item has shipped, it is no longer in our hands. You will need to contact USPS with your tracking number to gain more information and/or file a claim.

I accidentally put the wrong address in at checkout, how can I fix it?

We ship to the address provided upon purchase. If the order has not yet shipped, please contact us via email as soon as possible. Once the order has shipped, you will have to contact USPS.

Can you reship my item? It was delivered to the wrong address.

Unfortunately, unless you can retrieve the package, you will have to place another order.

All sales are final!

What is your exchange policy?

We are unable to process exchanges at this time.

It's not the color I was expecting.

We do our best to display unaltered photos of our strands. Monitor display vs in-person display may vary slightly.
